20th Anniversary Hank Granberry Charity Classic
Westin Stonebriar Fazio Resort Course | Frisco, TX
Proceeds benefit Pancreatic Cancer research.
Our tournament is held in memory of Hank Granberry, father of GSG President, Mark Granberry. Hank passed on August 11th, 2001 at age 76 after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer - the third leading cause of cancer death in men. Hank is survived by his four children: Michael, Suzanne, Mark, Larry, and their respective families.
H.L. “Hank” was a great salesman. He spent the majority of his adult life selling to the sign and screen printing industries. He was an integral part of the success of what is now known as GSG. Hank was present at the first golf classic, which was held shortly after his initial diagnosis. Over the years many customers, vendors, and friends of the GSG family have participated in this premier charity event. Due to their overwhelming generosity, we have been able to donate $30,000 or more each year towards finding a cure for pancreatic cancer.
Help us continue Hank’s legacy with your contribution. As we play in memory of Hank Granberry, we also play in hopeful anticipation that a cure may soon be discovered. Our thanks to PanCAN and to UT Southwestern Medical Center for their efforts in this endeavor.
